Review: Pixi Glow Tonic

Pixi Glow Tonic Review

The name itself makes it sound way too good to be true. Glow Tonic? Is this some magical potion you drink to glow from within? The newest way to highlight your face?

Even though that would be some next level highlighting, the glow tonic I’m talking about is Pixi’s Glow Tonic. It’s an exfoliating toner that contains 5% glycolic acid and makes your skin oh-so-glowy.

Exfoliating your face with an acid seems a little scary but I promise its worth it. Sometimes you just need the extra exfoliation that gritty exfoliators can’t give to you. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, try a chemical exfoliator versus your scrub. It’s next level smoothness with much less effort. Into the Gloss has an awesome article explaining it all.

Pixi’s Glow Tonic completely changed the game for me when it comes to toners. I used to be a witch hazel die-hard, but after a while, my skin became accustomed to the product. Even though I was exfoliating every other day and lathering on my creams to high heaven, my skin looked duller than ever.

Available at Target for $15, it may be a little more expensive than your usual drugstore toner, but it’s worth every penny.

 Final Thoughts

Dream team: 365 Organic Cotton Pads + Pixi Glow Tonic

After using this for a month, I was very impressed. My skin glowed and showed a smoother texture. I still have bumps now and then from being lousy about taking off my makeup before going to bed, but other than not fighting acne I have nothing bad to say about this toner. Definitely keeping it as a staple in my skincare arsenal!
